Data on Indian money rules, worked out from official sources and free to quote with a credit.

Data you can use

How the numbers are made

Every rule comes from its official source, an Act, a gazette notification or a circular, with the date it takes effect and the date we last checked it, and every calculator is tested against worked examples before it goes live. Each page shows its sources, its check dates and what has changed. How we calculate explains it in full; every fix is listed on Corrections.

Bank holidays are RBI’s lists for its regional offices, counted by state; IFSC codes are RBI’s lists of branches as published in Razorpay’s open dataset; FD rates are each bank’s own published rates.

Using our figures

You may quote our figures and tables in your reporting with a credit, “Source: Accurio.in”, and a link to the page you used. Please give the date the page shows (“Checked” or “Updated”): rules and rates change, and our pages change with them. Where a figure is RBI’s or a bank’s, credit them as the original source too.

We can work out a figure for your story with the same tools, for a salary, a state or a rate you choose. We give no investment advice and recommend no fund, stock, bank or lender.
